hi all!

i would really like more people to go on et! cus its a great game and it seems to b no1 on it : 8 out of 10 times i join its dead...
it's no fun running around on my tod.

yes, yes its definatly a problem.
i have suggested my solution, and while im not suggesting it will work, it cant be any worse.
6 standard maps with two non <being venice and baserace>



still, it takes bliggy to do it and he is busy ....

still, does everyone still disagree?

p.s. as long as we get rid of cortex i dont mind. i hate the look of the map!!

yeah i think just having the six standard maps without venice and baserace will attract more people back as not everyone likes those maps Smile

but i definately agree with basically starting again (maybe turn off the /kill command)

aye that was my thinking.
start all over again.
still , then, i can forsee mikel froster hobo comming back and decimating any new people who join , but how cares!
and if it doesnt make any difference then we can revert back to current set up ;P

Lots of people use that command if they get stuck or are no-where near the battle if the map has moved on. Plus, if you use it in battle on our server the last person to shoot you gets the kill anyway, so I don't see why.

Er, as I stated before - I am quite willing to make change to the ET server. Assuming that you have reached a concensus on what should be done, just let me know by PM and I will carry out the changes.

Mifune - Make a topic about your map idea into a poll. Options could be "Do nothing" - "Standard maps + venice&baserace" - "Standard Maps". Then we do whatever one gets the majority vote and see how it goes. What have we got to lose?

(And yes I know that other people will want a different 2 maps, but we tried discussing that before and nothing ever happened, so let's do it this way for now)

mate you use it the most when you see a panzer coing towards you or you have no health so i would not go on about people getting stuff and all that rubbish as it never happens.

all the big killers use the /kill command to protect there kills, most of you even have it binded to your mouse !!

hobo uses the /kill command ALOT
he's not going to be so happy if it gets removed, it is part of his tactics (I think)

Using /kill infront of a panzer isn't allowed ...
(Tough, thats why i'm getting killed by the panzer allot of times)...

Altough... its not hard, to kill urself with a nade eh?

The only time I /kill is if people spawn on me, the spawn timer is almost empty and I have next to no hp (and I'm not being attacked ofc) or if I get lost.

Panzas... nah, you have more of a chance of getting another kill if you dodge it and shoot him, rather than /killing. It's binded to my # key anyway Razz

I'd happily accept /kill ending sprees though

I think that is a great idea, not only because my number of sprees is near to nothing but it will prevent people who are build for the kill to abuse this command
